Serving Up Some Sauce for Scrumptious

Owners Helen and Tim Korinth opened their Scrumptious Fish & Chips Food Truck in 2020; they planned to introduce the "proper" fish & chips to the California food scene. Quickly, the word spread, and in a matter of a few months, they were voted "best take-out" in all of Santa Cruz. During the inception of Scrumptious, the duo reached out to Team Rayvn to help develop the design for their new food truck that gave the nod to their English heritage while infusing the vibe of Santa Cruz, CA, their now-adopted home.

Things Start Getting Saucy

As the brand flourished, the Korinth's observed that their family "Curry Ketchup" recipe was a big hit for their hard-core fans, that many asked them if they were bottling it. To give their loyalists what they wanted, our team worked behind the scenes, testing packaging design scenarios with local focus groups to help validate an identity direction that would have the most effective impact in retail.

Our intent was to break the standard stereotypes you see with classic American ketchups and sauces with something that felt unique and modern within its category.
