At the World Bank headquarters in Washington, D.C., dining is more than just a meal, it’s a daily crossroads for a global community. With thousands of employees representing over 170 nations, the café needed to reflect the organization’s shared mission and cultural diversity through an authentic, welcoming experience.
Partnering with the client, we helped bring this vision to life through a comprehensive storytelling and wayfinding program. Beginning at concept and extending through construction documentation, our work blended thoughtful narrative design with technical precision, from custom iconography to large-scale murals inspired by ingredients, textures, and nature. The resulting experience captures the spirit of global connection, using conversational signage and visual storytelling to turn the café into a celebration of world culture and everyday exchange.
